I’ve been thinking of starting this blog for a while, so here we go. Writing has always been a passion of mine. If you take a peek at my Facebook page, you'll discover a variety of my written pieces. I enjoy expressing my experiences and the lessons I've learned along the way. In school, I studied Communications, which involved quite a bit of writing, but for me, most of my creations come from the heart rather than strict guidelines. Still, I believe there's value in a little structure. Having worked as a professional editor and copywriter, I recognize that rules can be beneficial.
A bit about myself: I’m a Christian, a devoted disciple and follower of Jesus Christ.
I’m happily married to the love of my life, Eddy Ouma. Interestingly, we met in our late 30s and are now joyfully raising our kids, Eden (4) and Eimee (2), in our 40s. Because we spent more time single than most before marrying, we also have a ministry geared towards older singles.
So, what can you expect from this blog?
As the name suggests, this is a safe haven for open and genuine conversations about marriage, singleness, parenting, life, and work. I believe that God is intricately woven into every aspect of our lives.
